She has demonstrated outstanding leadership as Chair of the District Bond Oversight Committee, President of multiple school site PTAs, President of our District Council PTA, and as a Trustee of the Glendora Public Library. Robin is a strong advocate for educational excellence for all students, and she will be a positive addition to the Board of Education."

"Robin has demonstrated her dedication to Glendora Unified School District. Her commitment, knowledge, and years of selfless service will be a strong foundation for her new service on the Board of Education. Robin will make a great member of the board and hit the ground running!"
Doris Blum
Glendora School Board Member
"I have known and worked with Robin Merkley for more than fifteen years, and can think of no one better prepared to be a member of the Glendora Board of Education. Robin has been a dedicated school volunteer, serving on many district wide committees, including the Bond Oversight Committee. She played a major role in the PTA, having been PTA president at several schools, both elementary and secondary, and as the PTA Council president. Now that her children have graduated from GHS, she continues her PTA commitment and is currently the secretary of the Whitcomb High School PTSA. As a community volunteer, Robin is now the president of the Glendora Community Coordinating Council and a member of the Glendora Library Board. Robin has been a strong voice for public education, and an advocate for all the children who attend Glendora's schools. I know that as a member of the Board of Education Robin will work to make sure that the Glendora Unified School District will continue to be among the very best in Southern California."

"It is my pleasure to support Robin Merkley for the Glendora Unified School District school board. I first met Robin close to 20 years ago at Williams Elementary School where our children attended and we both were involved in PTA. I cherish our friendship. We have volunteered together on many boards and at many events over the years. It has been a privilege working with her. The words that best describe Robin are dedicated, loyal, fun and true friend. Robin will be a wonderful addition to the school board."
Karen Davis

"Throughout the two decades that I have known Robin, she has demonstrated her commitment and passion for the well-being of our students and the betterment of our community. As a parent of children enrolled in GUSD, I appreciate her work with PTA and her sincere interest in the education and enrichment of each and every child. Robin volunteers her time for numerous community projects and exemplifies public service, teamwork, fairness, and responsibility. I look forward to the continuation of Robin's community service as a member of the GUSD School Board."
Gary Boyer

"It is a pleasure to be able to endorse Robin for Glendora Unified School Board. I have had the opportunity to work with Robin and have seen her both as a volunteer and community leader. She has the skills to take the lead on any situation but still has the ability and personality to get into the trenches to make things happen. Robin has always given unselfishly of her time and talents when called upon in the community and the School Board is a sensible transition for her to take on a larger leadership role in the community."
